Research Support

Situated in UW Medicine's Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, CMiST aims to serve as a point of connection and communication between UW and affiliated clinicians and scientists. As the university's designated microbiome research center, we are in an advantageous position to make significant advances in microbiome research, specifically the microbiome of the gut, that will ultimately help millions of people. But, we cannot go it alone. Understanding the complex community that is the gut microbiome requires your support. With your investment, CMiST can continue to conduct impactful research that will benefit the lives of many. Your help will allow CMiST to become the leading microbiome research center not just in the Seattle area, but the greater Pacific Northwest.

If you are interested in supporting our outreach efforts, please contact CMiST program manager, Amy Parker, You are welcome to make a general gift of support or specify a specific area of research or project.
