There are several opportunities to support CMiST's educational outreach efforts within the University of Washington microbiome community. These activities are important for researchers to learn about new methods and ideas, to engage in creative thinking, and to network with scientists and clinicians outside of our immediate circle at the UW.
Through each of these activities, it is our aim to foster meaningful partnerships with our colleagues so that together we may advance microbiome research and Inspire Discovery!
If you are interested in supporting our outreach efforts, please contact CMiST program manager, Amy Parker, email@example.com or complete the form below.
Annual FAll Symposium
Our annual fall symposium will be a two-day, multi-faceted, research event held at the UW. The presentation program will reflect the dynamic and interdisciplinary nature of the gut microbiome, bringing together accomplished and forward-thinking researchers from different backgrounds who have expertise in their respective fields.
Microbiome Matters is a quarterly seminar series that culminates with our annual fall symposium. We will seek speakers from not just the UW community, but also the greater Pacific Northwest and across the country.
Microbiome Club is a forum for UW and affiliated scientists, clinicians, students, postdocs, and laboratory staff working with, or interested in, the microbiome to come together and share their current works, initiate collaborations, and get valuable feedback from their colleagues.
