September 6, 2017 – Seattle, WA – The Center for Microbiome Sciences & Therapeutics (CMiST), which officially opened its doors at the University of Washington earlier this year, has been awarded a $60,000 grant by the Kenneth Raining Foundation to help support their art and science program – Vivo Art. Through this program, CMiST invites bio-artists into their laboratory at the UW to work in tandem on a specific project designed to help advance their science, but also communicate the findings with the general public.
