Where Vivo Art started

DePaolo Lab artist-in-residence, Kathy High, and CMiST Director, Will DePaolo, PhD will be doing a dual presentation entitled Waste Matters: You are my future, which will explore the gut microbiome from the perspectives of the scientist and the artist.

Since 2016, Kathy has been an artist-in-residence as part of the Imagenomics program with DePaolo Lab, first at the University of Southern California and now the UW. Kathy and Will are collaborating on a series of new works that have arisen from their collaborative research.
