CMiST and GlobalWACh awarded R21

CMiST director, Will DePaolo, and assistant director of UW’s Global WACh (women, adolescent and child), Patricia Pavlinac, PhD, have collectively been awarded an R21 grant by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD).

These funds will allow Drs. DePaolo and Pavlinac to investigate the effect of the microbiome on co-infections in HIV-infected children in Sub-Saharan Africa.
